Publiks Sites are integral to a core mission of Publiks established and defined by the Founder and President, Alvan A Ikoku: namely, to enhance public awareness, public knowledge and public interest concerning peoples, communities and societies in Africa as well as the Americas, Asia, Australasia and Europe — and to foster attendant enhancements of local and global relations within and among said peoples, communities and societies.

Publiks seeks to fulfill this overarching mission and purpose via the Products and Services, and most particularly a set of Publiks Sites — often made available together, through an integrated platform, and to visitors and users of varied capacities, contexts, interests, talents, views, voices.

Central to the conception of the Publiks Sites is the objective that their design, form and interface are to present to users the catalysts, means and opportunities to respectfully engage and learn about themselves and their natural and social environs, about others near and far, similar and different, and about the effect and role form as well as content do have in building and enhancing ethical relations.

Also central to the Sites’s conception is the goal that content including varied media are to equally serve as catalysts, means, opportunities and very substance of engagement and learning described above — to be provided by Publiks as well as fellow users — and in a general effort to respectfully create, maintain and use spaces that do hold important roles in forming and improving ethical relations.

Publiks.Org has been conceived by Alvan A Ikoku, designed and developed as a web-based Site featuring several integrated domains and Publiks Services and Products — where visitors and users may also have ongoing access to Publiks feeds and published contributions from Publiks, as well as to community spaces, feeds and contributions.

lready launched, operating, and being further developed, Publiks.Org and its feeds and published contributions shall endeavor to provide fact-based information, news, events, education, research, analysis and commentary as well as audio, visual and textual media.

Meanwhile, its integrated community spaces shall provide visitors and users opportunities to create and maintain profiles and portfolios, to view activity from fellow visitors and users, comment on such activity, participate in moderated conversations, and discuss the nature of its membership in communities and publics — both on and beyond the internet.

Thus designed with our core mission and purposes in mind, our main Site — consisting of Publiks.Org and all of its associated domains — shall provide visitors and users with access to a number of overlapping Sections, including, but not limited to, those we delineate for you later on this section.

You will see, upon arrival, that some of these sections are geographically focused views of our activity and content.
